She was predeceased by: her husband Raymond Filas; her parents, Joseph Pyszka and Ann Pyszka; and her siblings, Charlene Ellerbrock (late William), Joseph Pyszka (late Rosie) and Ronald Pyszka (late Ruby).

She is survived by: her daughters, Marcia Brooks (Malcolm) of Plainfield, Paula Dillon (Joe) of Elmhurst and Laura Pleskovich (Dan) of Yorkville; her grandchildren, Matthew, Derek, Ryan Brooks (Monique), Michael (Amy), Joey Dillon (Katie) and Jacob Pleskovich; and her great grandchildren, Kale, Mia, Beau, Tyler, Carter, Olivia and Molly.
