He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Sr. Gansz and Catherine Gansz; and his sister MaryAnn Delaplane. He is survived by: his wife Maureen Gansz; his children, Matthew Gansz (Tamara), Eleanor Gansz and Elizabeth Gall (Marc); his grandchildren, Gage Gansz, Owen Gansz, Jacob Gansz, Shaye Soto, Daniel Soto, Ethan Soto and Josie Gall; his brother James Daniel Gansz (Elaine); and his brother-in-law James Delaplane. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church (2003 Hassert Blvd, Naperville, IL 60564).
