He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Cothern and Anne Acree Cothern; his wife Joan Cook; his sister Jenny Sue; and his stepdaughter Kelly Duby.
He is survived by: his children, Kelly Fermazin and Dan Cothern (Dawn); his grandchildren, Tristan, Austin, Jessica and Colin; and his stepdaughters, Lisa Wright (Rusty), Pamela Fulk, Katrina Nalley (Earl) and Rhonda Bachman (Phillip).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Rosenbaum Funeral Home (925 IL-47, Gibson City, IL 60936). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to the GCMS Booster Club to be used for the Track and Field Program.
