He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Fidler and Josephine Fidler; and his sister Carole Janoski (late Robert). He is survived by: his son James R. Fidler, Jr. (Edith Beaity) of Markham, IL.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Overman-Jones Funeral Home (15219 Joliet Rd, Plainfield, IL 60544). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery (20953 W Hoff Rd, Elwood, IL 60421).
