He is survived by: his wife Dorothy J. Meagher (Leslie); his children, Dorothy K. Sanborn (Scott) and Joseph L. Meagher (Laura); his grandchildren, Libby, Maggie, Colin Meagher, Casey, Caden and Kiley Sanborn; his brother Joel Meagher; and his brothers-in-law, Lawrence Leslie (Bonnie), James Leslie (Judy), Richard Leslie and John Wahlman. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church (2500 S Arbeiter Rd, Joliet, IL 60431). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, December 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, December 22nd 2025 at the Plainfield Township Cemetery (15502 Joliet Rd, Plainfield, IL 60544).
