He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara L. Polenc; his parents, Joseph C. Polenc and Regina Polenc; and his grandson Joseph R. Polenc Sr.. He is survived by: his children, Michelle L. Busby (William), Joseph K. Polenc (Yvonne E.) and Anthony J. Polenc (Rebecca L.); his grandchildren, Ashley Meaux (Kevin), William Busby, Jonathan Polenc, Lucas Polenc, Vincent Polenc and Madeline Slowikowski (Michal Malec); his great grandchildren, Joseph R. Polenc Jr. and Olivia Meaux; and his sister Barbara J. Polenc. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
