He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Stalzer and Mary Plut (Joseph); his wives, Beverly J. Allen-Stalzer and Sara Kurdziel-Stalzer; his brother Joseph Stalzer (Georgiann); and his son Kenneth Leonard Stalzer.
He is survived by: his children, Karre Schultz (Floyd), Kitte Stalzer-Ward (Jimmy), Kurt Stalzer (Sue) and Kriste Dow (Steve); his grandchildren, Kristy Stalzer (Mark), Michael Tacchia (Jammie), Angelinna Tacchia, Kelli Stalzer (Tom Craven), Kurt Stalzer Jr. and Timothy Teats; his great grandchildren, Tylar Tacchia, Taylor Tacchia, Dante Tacchia, Colton Heister, Forrest Craven and Toby Craven; his great great grandchild Sienna Tacchia; his nieces, Cheri Jo Chica (Howard) and Beckie Tomlinson (Bob); his stepgrandchildren, Don Ciesielski (Amy), Diana Ciesielski, Gina Walter (Greg), Eric Ciesielski and Randy Ciesielski (Cheri); his caregivers, Lynette Ando, Imelda Azucenas and Sara; and also Michele Kurdziel (Mark Buchanan).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home (3200 Black Rd, Joliet, IL 60431). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Homes - Joliet (3200 Black Rd, Joliet, IL 60431).
