He was predeceased by: his daughter Sarah Rae Nowotny; and his parents, Frank Nowotny and Idabelle Heitkamp Nowotny. He is survived by: his wife Darlene Nowotny; his daughter Michele Baudek (Vince); his grandchildren, Emerson, Adeline and Nashton; and his sister Jeanine Nowotny-Neuse (late Steven).
