With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Laura Colleen Buhay of Plainfield, Illinois, born in Joliet, Illinois, who passed away on April 12, 2024 at the age of 49. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her nephew Nathan Chin; and her grandparents, Lowell, Ruth Hall (Condon), David and Sylvia Kennedy (Deckard).

She is survived by : her parents, Lowell Hall and Geraldine Hall (Kennedy); her husband Joe; her children, Joey and Abigayle; her siblings, Lowell Hall (Christina), Kristen Vogt (Matthew), Melissa Bradley (Mark), Chrissy Chin (Anthony), Richard Buhay (Ghia) and Robert Buhay; her nieces and nephews, Jacob, Emma Hall, Mia, Ella, Zach Bradley, Lucas, Sophie, Benny Vogt, Aidan, Elena Buhay, Noah and Ian Chin; and also, Ricardo and Araceli Buhay.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Homes - Joliet (3200 Black Rd, Joliet, IL 60431). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 9:15 AM at the Holy Family Catholic Church (600 Brook Forest Ave, Shorewood, IL 60404). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
