As Leang Khy departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Leang Khy. Though Leang Khy may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Kung Er and Ngoung Kok Lao. He is survived by: his wife Houng Lim Lao; and his children, Cindy Khou (Lim B.), Henry Lao (Pech Taing), Jenny Lao (Allen Tir), Ty Lao (Luong Lai), Anna Lao (Eang Mui) and San Lao (Gary Kierspel). He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, three siblings, many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home (44 S Mill St, Naperville, IL 60540). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
