With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Lee J. Wendt of Plainfield, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Lee left this world on December 3, 2025 at the age of 83, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Wendt and Mildred Wendt; his siblings, Ruth Schweitzer (late Leonard), Harry Wendt (late Jackie), Gladys Henson (late Harry), Lois Caba (late Clarence) and Walter Jr. Wendt (late Shelley); his nephew Travis Wendt; and his in-laws, John and Girlan Schue.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Schue-Wendt; his daughters, Tina Lefebvre (Roger) and Mia Wendt; his grandchildren, Hannah and Jack Lefebvre; his siblings, Millie Cleveland (late Larry), Joan Gargaglione (late Lou) and Bob Wendt (Debbie); and his brother-in-law Dale Schue (late Janet). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Angelo's Restaurant (247 N York St, Elmhurst, IL 60126). PLEASE NOTE: Kindly RSVP by commenting below "yes" with number of people to attend no later than Saturday, December 13th.
