He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert McIlvane and Doris McIlvane. He is survived by: his wife Diana Ramsey McIlvane; his son Matthew McIlvane; his daughter-in-law Megan Miller McIlvane; his grandchildren, Mason McIlvane and Mila McIlvane; and his siblings, William McIlvane (Joanne Kledaras), Amy McIlvane Ballard (Robert Ballard), Charlie McIlvane and Nancy McIlvane Del Genio (Robert Del Genio). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and their children.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Grace United Methodist Church (300 E Gartner Rd, Naperville, IL 60540).
