He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Pamela S. Murphy; his children, Lauren Murphy (Jim Perdue) of Knoxville, IL and Jacob "Jake" Murphy (Elizabeth Padgett) of Hawkinsville, GA; his grandchildren, Charli Perdue, Kennedy Murphy, Emma Perdue and Liam Akers; his parents, Myrtle Murphy of Aurora and Wallace Murphy; his parents-in-law, Sylvia "Darlene" Pennington of Aurora and Ross Pennington; and his siblings, Kathy Jackson (Jeffrey) of Batavia, IL, Terry Murphy (Evangeline) of Morton Grove, IL and Waylon Murphy of Aurora.
