He was predeceased by: his father Jesse James Hernandez; and his grandparents, Jesus S. Hernandez, Stella Hernandez, Billie Louise Harris and James Doyle Harris.
He is survived by: his children, Emily Hernandez of Coal City, IL and Evan Hernandez of Plainfield, IL; his mother Diane Hernandez of Plainfield, IL; his brother Stephen Hernandez; his sister-in-law Brenda Andrist of Lemont, IL; his nephews, Kyle Joseph Hernandez and Owen James Hernandez; and his aunt Mary Louise Hernandez of San Antonio, TX.
