He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Sliz and Jane Sliz; and his siblings, Henry, Stanley Sliz (Annamae) and Marianne Papiernik.
He is survived by: his wife Lillian Sliz; his children, Susan Binette (Alan), Karen Sliz-Wilder, Mark Sliz (Mary) and Paul Sliz (Linda); his sister Renee Evans; and his grandchildren, Brett Wilder (Kayla), Stephen Wilder, Krista Wilder, Amanda Durbin (Jake), Bradley Sliz (Jacqueline), Mark Sliz (Shannon), Alaina Sliz and Andrew Sliz. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren, also numerous nieces and nephews.
