He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Roos and Ebba Roos; and his sister LaVerne Stocks (Jack). He is survived by: his wife Barbara Roos; his children, Lisa Rusnak (John), Kristen Pieczynski (Robert) and Robert Roos (Mayumi); his grandchildren, Andrew Rusnak (Gabrielle), Emily Roetker (Ryan), Jacob Pieczynski, Grace Pieczynski, Khristian Pieczynski, Kaede Roos and Anders Roos; and his great grandchild Cameron Rusnak. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Redeemer Lutheran Church (651 E 166th St, South Holland, IL 60473). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Redeemer Lutheran Church.
