It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Susan B. Medema of Plainfield, Illinois, born in Elmhurst, Illinois, who passed away on May 18, 2026, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Hayman and Lorraine Hayman; and her brothers, Roger Froeming and Gerald Froeming. She is survived by: her children, Patrick Medema (Elizabeth) of Florida, Shannon Polega (Joshua) of Aurora, IL, Susan and John B. Medema; her grandchildren, Isabella, Elijah, Scarlett, Lillian, Easton and Gabriella; and her siblings, James Hayman (Karen), Marlene Ciavarella and Lori Hayman.
