He was loved and cherished by many people including : his sons, William R. "Bill" Block (Cheryl) of Plainfield and Jeffrey Block of Wheaton, IL; his grandsons, Samuel and Joseph Block; his parents, William Block and Margaret Block; and his sister Cathy Block (Joan) of Spokane, WA.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Overman-Jones Funeral Home (15219 Joliet Rd, Plainfield, IL 60544).
