He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Rabe and Dorothy Rabe (Boehl); his nephews, Doug Rabe and Ben DeGroot; and his brothers-in-law, Tony Eben and John Eben.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Rabe; his children, Ami Sonethongkham (Tay), Andrew Rabe (Lisa), Daniel Rabe (Bleisen), Tina Matcke (Herb), Rebecca Still (Josh), Laura Arnold (Travis) and Lana Reed (Jake); his grandchildren, Marissa Rabe, Christian Rabe, Mayson Rabe, Elizabeth Rabe, Quinn Rabe, Lucas Rabe, Lucia Rabe, Sarah Matcke, Alex Matcke, Joey Dennison, Julianna Dennison, Colton Arnold, Dorothy Reed and Abraham Reed; his brother Alan Rabe (Linda); his siblings-in-law, Sandra DeGroot (Gary), Rose Schack (Glenn), Roxie Pier (Mark), Ken Eben (Marlis), Bob Eben (Shirley) and Jim Eben (Myrna); and his cousins, Sarah Stewart (Dick) and Kenny Crim (Sandy). He is also survived by three step grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
