The memory of Rosalyn Boone of Plainville, Illinois, who passed away on April 26, 2025 at the age of 87, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Ehrhardt and Stella Klingele Ehrhardt; her husband Roger K. Boone; her son Roger "RJ" Boone; her parents-in-law, Leo and Gladys Boone; and her brothers-in-law, Jim Boone (Nancy), Marvin Boone (Barbara), Loren Simon and Don Windoffer.
She is survived by: her children, Rose Lugering (Dana) of Quincy and Raymond Boone (Kim) of Coatsburg, IL; her daughter-in-law Marilyn Boone of Plainville, IL; her grandchildren, R. Daniel Boone, Rachel Berry (Dalton), Ryan Boone, Chloe Morelock (Ben), Taylor Lear (Kim), Crystal Johnson (Todd) and Elizabeth Harmon; her great grandchildren, Lawson Berry, Vivian Berry, Eleanor Berry, Ryker Boone, Cooper Lear, Ashton Lear, Wren Morelock, Sophia Harmon, Elijah Harmon, Brantley Johnson and Braelynn Johnson; her siblings, Spike Ehrhardt (Theresa) and Rita Lentz (Harold); and her siblings-in-law, Elaine Simon and Norman Boone (Nancy). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church (2223 St Anthony Rd, Quincy, IL 62305). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
