He is survived by: his daughters, Dawn Walker (Matthew) of Plano, IL, Anna Schultz (Robert) of Olathe, KS and Melissa Vahl (Paul Rayna) of Plano, IL; and his siblings, Johnny Vahl of Denver, NC and Marlene Carrell of Sandwich, IL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
