We are sad to announce that on July 9, 2025, at the age of 73, Richard A. Okapal of Plano, Illinois passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Richard A. Okapal to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Okapal and Marion Okapal (Tebbit); his siblings, Janet Brackett (Robert), Joan Fichtel (Ray) and Jon Okapal; and his sister-in-law Maryanne Okapal.

He is survived by: his wife Juliana Okapal of Plano, IL; his sons, Richard A. Okapal, Jr. (Amy) of Plano, IL and Jeremy Okapal (Stephanie) of Cape Coral, FL; his grandsons, Cole and Corbin Okapal; and his siblings, Thomas Okapal of Yorkville, IL, Andrew Okapal (Kelly), Peggy Krieger (Scott) of Oswego, IL and Louanne Okapal (Dave Boehn). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
