She is survived by: her children, Ashley Coombs (Sean) of Raeford, NC and Jeremy Assell (Sarah) of Cincinnati, OH; her grandchildren, Sadie, Cooper Losic, Everett, Alton Coombs, Ethan and Aron Assell; and her siblings, Keith Melin (Merri) of Batavia and Alanna Melin of Sugar Grove, IL. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 22nd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Nelson Funeral Home (1617 N Bridge St, Yorkville, IL 60560). A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 22nd 2026 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
