She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Haberer and Sophia Haberer; her husband Edward J. Kovach; and her brothers, Norbert "Spike" Haberer, Dale Haberer and Maurice Haberer.
She is survived by: her daughters, Connie Whalen (Joe) of Smithboro, IL and Karen Fletcher (Doug) of Greenville, IL; her grandchildren, Susan Hall (Jeremy) of Mulberry Grove, IL, Cara Snow (Nick) of Salem, IL, Carley Swalley (Terry) of Greenville, IL and Brady Fletcher of Greenville, IL; her great grandchildren, Haley Huhn (Josh), Anna Hall, Elly Hall (Ethan), Caia Hall, Catherine Snow, Mason Snow, Austin Swalley, Christian Swalley, Jackson Swalley and Madeline Swalley; and her great great grandchildren, Jayce Huhn and Hadley Huhn. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Meridith Funeral Home (102 Moreland St, Pocahontas, IL 62275). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Bond County Humane Society or to Robinson Cemetery in Pocahontas, IL.
