Hulin touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hulin Halcomb and Martha Halcomb; and his brother Richard Halcomb. He is survived by: his friends, Russell D. Erlinger, Tom Martin, Dave Schreiber and Gus Riggs; his wife Joyce Halcomb; his sons, Matthew Halcomb and Michael Halcomb (Audree); his stepchildren, Carol, Matthew Reckamp and Bradley Reckamp (Tina); his stepdaughter-in-law Michelle Reckamp; his grandchildren, Briana Walters, Autumn Reckamp, Nolan Halcomb, Wyatt Halcomb, Jillian Halcomb and Morgan Halcomb; his stepgrandchildren, Nikolas Duncan and Zachary Duncan; and his brothers-in-law, Dennis Shevlin (Maxine) and Bruce Shevlin (Susan).
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home (1501 9th St, Highland, IL 62249).
