He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Lambird and Eldoris Lambird (Strullmyer); and his brother Charles Lambird. He is survived by: his wife Linda Lambird of Pocahontas, Illinois; his daughters, Jenny Glover of Troy and Christine Brutcher (Russ) of Troy, Illinois; his grandchildren, Jude Glover, Julia Glover, Kaylee Lambird, Landon Cartwright and Gavin Brutcher; his children, Theresa Lambird, Pam Barbaratto, Danny Lambird and Colleen Vasper; his siblings, Janet Perkins of Rock Fall, Diane Lambird of Collinsville and Wayne Lambird of St. Jacob, Illinois; and his nephews, Steven and Michael Hibbs. He is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family to assist them with expenses.
