She was predeceased by: her parents, Adolph F. Daiber and Gertrude M. Daiber; her husband Earl L. Weis; her great grandchild Caide Brown; her siblings, Orville Daiber and Delores Rinderer; her parents-in-law, John and Edna Weis; and her siblings-in-law, Delores Daiber, Marie Deak (John), Cyril Weis (Dolores), Frances Luitjohan (Aloysius), Lester Weis (Midge), Raymond Weis (Judith), Bertha "Bert" Geiger (Raymond) and Wilbert "Willie" Weis (Anne).
She is survived by: her children, Wayne Weis (Cindy) of Pocahontas, Rozann Steinkoenig (Bradley) of Highland, Joan Watson (Allan) of Payson, AZ, Gary Weis (Rebecca) of Highland and Connie Brown (Cary) of Pocahontas; her grandchildren, Rodney Weis (Lisa Kittle), Carla Ratermann (Michael), Ashley Weis, Heather Gutzler (Jacob), Corey Steinkoenig (Emily), Nicole Nelson (Christian), Cody Brown (Samantha Busch), Colton Brown (Samantha), Cole Brown, Dennis Seals, Tanya Barkley and Emily Henson; her great grandchildren, Jackson, Addison, Emerson, Karson Gutzler, Maverick Brown, Conor, Ryan Steinkoenig, McKenzie, Tucker, Madelyn Nelson, Kale, Jada Barkley, Sawyer Seals, Ryker and Declan Henson; and her brother-in-law Herb Weis (Shirley) of Marine. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (971 Main St, Pierron, IL 62273).
Memorials may be made to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, The Melissa Brown Friends of Friends Fighting Cancer Scholarship Fund, or HSHS St. Joseph's Foundation and will be received at the visitation or by mail at Moss Funeral Home, 1501 9th St. Highland, IL 62249, who is serving the family.
