He is survived by: his brothers, Gerald (JoDeen) of Eureka, IL, Ray of Oregon, IL and Dan Schmidt (Tammy) of Cabool, MO; and his uncle Bill Hammer of Polo, IL.. He is also survived by six nieces; several grandnieces and nephews.
