We bid farewell to Steve Johnson of Polo, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 8, 2025 at the age of 78. Steve touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his wife Sonja Johnson; and his former wife Vonda Craig (Bardell). He is survived by: his daughters, Sara Thorngren (Scott) of Milledgeville, Samantha Olsen (Mike) of Polo and Stephanie Kemmeren (Matthias) of Dixon; his sister Terry Skogsberg of Rockford; his grandchildren, Devon Plachno (Haylee) of Rock Falls, Siena, Alexis Kemmeren, Linnea and Britt Thorngren; his stepgrandchildren, Terry Olsen (Franny) and Nichole Harris (Zeb); his great grandchildren, Lilyann and Elijah Plachno; and his niece Patty Beman.

A memorial has been established at First State Bank Shannon-Polo in Polo.
