He was predeceased by : his parents, Henry Johnson and Augusta Johnson (Fisher); and his siblings, Eloise, Dorothy, Florence and Henry.

He is survived by : his wife Joan E. Hill; his children, Carrie Schier (Luke) and Arden Johnson (Diane); his grandchildren, Vonna Pitchford (Torrey), Branden Johnson (Jenni), Matthew Schier (Tamara), Levi Schier, Aaron Johnson and Amanda Oksen (Peter); and his great grandchildren, Arista, Cuyler, Treyvyn, Valena Pitchford, Taya, Cooper and Gunner Schier. He is also survived by several Nieces and Nephews.

In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established to the Open Bible Church in Polo.
