It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anna Legner of Pontiac, Illinois, who passed away on July 15, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Anna Legner to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Chapman and Violet Chapman; her husband Harold E. "Pink" Legner; her son Steven; her grandson Michael Frank; her sons-in-law, Billy Frank and James Alexander; her great great grandchild Bash Urbanksi; and her siblings, Mary Dodson and Francis Chapman.
She is survived by: her daughters, Patricia L. "Pat" Frank and Lee Ann Alexander; and her grandchildren, Cory Legner (Jennifer), Brad Legner (Carrie), Matthew Alexander (Sunny), Jason Alexander and Kristen E. Frank (Kim Towner). She is also survived by numerous great grandsons, great granddaughters, a great-great granddaughter, nephews, nieces, great nephews and nieces, and great-great nephews and nieces.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Duffy-Baier-Snedecor Funeral Home (903 W Custer Ave, Pontiac, IL 61764). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church (209 W Livingston St, Pontiac, IL 61764).
The family suggests memorials be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Pontiac, Illinois or a charity of the donor's choice.
