He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Leach and Ruth Leach (Whaples); the mother of his children Eileen Leach; his daughter Marka Gilbertson; and his brother Edwin Leach.
He is survived by: his daughters, Lianne Moyer (late Jim) of Morris and Gina Hoyt (Ray) of Minooka; his grandchildren, Ashli Foresta (Steve) of Utah, Shelby Kapellas (Brad) of Mississippi, Megan Smith (Mark) of Florida and Adam Gilbertson of Colorado; and his great grandchildren, Colin, Cameron Smith, Sophia Avellino (Eder), Joey Foresta (Abby) and Tiege Kapellas. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Fruland Funeral Home (121 W Jefferson St, Morris, IL 60450). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. The military honors was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 12:15 PM to 12:30 PM at the Evergreen Cemetery (1300 Cemetery Rd, Morris, IL 60450).
Arthur's contributions to the community of Morris are far too prolific to list, but he gave much of his time to charitable and community focused efforts.
