He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald F. Masching and Helen Masching (Tredennick); his sister Kathryn Feasley; his nephew Tyler Worthington; and his great-nephew Asbjorn Buus Thompson.

He is survived by: his children, Robert T. Kochanski of Cusseta, GA, Melissa Masching, Dustin Masching Ft, Ryan Masching of Crown Point, IN, Kristin Langston (Brian) of Big Rock, IL and Kevin Masching (Vanessa) of Big Rock, IL; his grandchild Dillan Masching (Kelsey) of Mackinaw, IL; his children, Kaylee, Brantley Langston of Big Rock, IL, Cooper, Marshall, Gavin Masching of Big Rock, IL and Reagan Masching of Crown Point, IN; his sisters, Lynn Worthington of Chenoa, IL and Mary Margaret Barrett (Mike); Knox Masching of Mackinaw, IL.. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the Duffy-Baier-Snedecor Funeral Home (903 W Custer Ave, Pontiac, IL 61764). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

The family suggests memorials be made to St. Paul Grade School or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
