Faye Cain Nelson Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Faye Cain Nelson (Pontiac, Illinois), who passed away on March 23, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Simon Peter and Nellie Ellen Bryan (Large); her brother James; her daughter Sandra Faye; her former life partner Donald E. Cain; her husband Warren Nelson; and her grandson Parker Cain.

She is survived by : her sister Ruth Anderson of St. Charles; her children, Stan Cain (Ann Higgens) of Bloomington, Donna Dwyer (Michael) of Odell and Martin Cain of Peoria; and her grandchildren, Dustin, Tyler Cain, Grace, Dan Dwyer and Madison Cain. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren as well as nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to University United Methodist or to Tjardes Health Center at Evenglow where she received exceptional care.
