He was predeceased by: his mother Jaunita Reyes Groll. He is survived by: his father Johnny Hernandez; his son Alan "Jackson" Schott; his stepfather Jeffrey Groll; and his siblings, Olivia Nash, Annie Gonzalez, Jay Pitchford and Jeffrey Groll II. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
