He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth F. Martin and Louise A. Martin (Taylor); his son Braden Martin; and his brothers, Kenneth Martin and Richard Martin.
He is survived by: his wife Sheri Martin; his children, Jennifer Poindexter (Cary Lewis Jr.), Maranda Beck (Keenen), Breanna Dayton (Eric) and Nora McCune; his grandchildren, Isaiah, Aiven, Abrianna, Kayshawn, Kee'Maris, Mar'Karis, Infinity, Ja'Karis, Ta'Maris, Gabe, Zack, Camden, Abbie, Wesley, Lyllien and Lennox; and his siblings, Sue Thurston (Clarence) of LeRoy, IL and Edward Martin of Chicago, IL..
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (701 N 7th St, Fairbury, IL 61739).
Memorials in Joe's memory may be made to the family. They will personally give them to a beloved charity of their choice.
