She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Brush and Josephine Brush (Dowell); and her sister Melba Ripper. She is survived by: her sons, Gene Elston (Sarah) of Alpharetta and Jeff Elston (Jill) of Bloomington, IL.; her brother Gerald Brush; and her grandchildren, Brian Elston and Laura Elston. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Livingston County Humane Society or to the First United Methodist Church.
