Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Merle Ferguson of Pontiac, Illinois, who passed away at the age of 95, on April 13, 2025. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Ferguson and Edna Ferguson (Lewis); his wife Kathryn L. Leatherman; and his brothers, John Ferguson, Robert Ferguson and Earl Ferguson.

He is survived by: his sons, Michael (Brenda) of Oviedo, FL, William (Sharon) of Kingsport, TN and James (Melissa) of Plymouth, MN; his grandchildren, Lauren Ferguson, Matthew Ferguson (Sarah), Kathryn Ferguson, Jakob Ferguson and Claire Ferguson; and his great grandchildren, Miller and Isla Ferguson.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his honor to the Livingston County Humane Society, or charity of the donor's choice.
