He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Wayne Dietz and Jean Cole Dietz; his spouse Tatsumi Kamiya; his children, Ashley Cromer (Wade) and Lucas Dietz; his grandchildren, Aiden, Christian, Felicia, Destiny and Taylor; his siblings, Brian Dietz (May), Jennifer Dietz (June) and Karen Hallam; and his son Jeremiah Dietz. He was also cherished by two great grandchildren.
