He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Schultz and Myrtle Schultz (Ehrhardt); his spouse Jean Schultz (Powell); and his brothers, Raymond and Ronald Schultz.
He is survived by: his children, Janet Cermak (Robert) and William Schultz (Mary Laura); and his sister Donna Smith. He is also survived by six grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren.
