He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Rasmussen and Verna Rasmussen (Brennan); and his wife Mary Rasmussen (Grimm). He is survived by: his children, Joseph Rasmussen (Jeannie Donovan) of Champaign, IL, Mary Rasmussen of Pontiac, IL and William Rasmussen of Pontiac, IL; and his grandchildren, Annie Rasmussen, Kyle Rasmussen, Alex Rasmussen (Jordan DePerez-Rasmussen), Kate Rasmussen, Sofia Rasmussen-Ortiz (Lissandro) and Elise Rasmussen. He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
Memorials in Rod's memory may be made to the ALS Foundation or the Livingston County (Illinois) Historical Society.
