He is survived by: his children, Karen Durand of Dallas City and Keith Durand (Shari) of Dallas City; his grandsons, Dylan Heins of Donnellson and Colton Durand of Dallas City; his great grandchildren, Aaron and Abraham Heins; and his siblings, Jane Klesner of Fort Madison, Tom Durand (Corinne) of Dallas City and Richard Durand (Scarlet) of Fort Madison. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A memorial fund has been established for the Riverview Sportsmen of Dallas City.
