Normalee Young Obituary

In loving memory of Normalee Young of Pontoosuc, Illinois, who departed this world on October 27, 2024 at the age of 91. Normalee leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, Normalee shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Normalee farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbur "Bud" Seigfried and Laura Odessa Townsend Seigfried; her spouse Doren L. Young; her sons, Roy and Elliott Young; her brother James Seigfried; and her great grandchild Kairyn Young.

She is survived by: her daughter Leona Young of Pontoosuc; and her nephew Tim Seigfried of West Point. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

A memorial fund has been established to help with expenses.
