Russell Antes Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on December 31, 2025, at the age of 76, Russell Antes of Pontoosuc, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Russell is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Russell's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roland Antes and Gladys Street Antes. He is survived by: his children, Laura Puckett (Tom) of Montrose and Brian Antes of Carthage; his grandchildren, Kodi Puckett of Fort Madison, Lisa Puckett of Farmington and Isaac Puckett (Natalyn) of Littleton; and his great grandchildren, Clarence and Eevee Brecount.
A memorial fund has been established for the Liberty University.
