It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Milo Godfrey of Poplar Grove, Illinois, who passed away on April 25, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though David Milo may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his wife Jacqueline Godfrey; his parents, Charles Godfrey and June Godfrey; and his brother Darryl Godfrey. He is survived by: his stepson Matt Waggoner (Teresa); his grandsons, Jacob Waggoner and Austin Waggoner; and his brother Ronald Godfrey (Meredith). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
