Wayne Wares Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Wayne Wares (Poplar Grove, Illinois), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 22, 2026 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Vonnie Rae Wares; his son Larry Wares; his parents, Allen Wares and Mary Wares; and his sisters, Shirley Robinson and Jean Schoepski.
He is survived by: his children, Ted Wares (Sue), Mike Wares (Paula), Rod Wares (Becky) and Kellie Taylor (Scott); and his grandchildren, Becky Wolff (Derek), Jamie Morman (Chris), Lindsay Fidder (Mike), Caleb Wares (Maja), Craig Wares (Allison), Eric Wares (Brittany), Hannah Taylor and Karlie Taylor. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to one of Wayne's favorite charities, VetsRoll.
