He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Schroeder and Gladys Ziegler Schroeder; his wife Shirley; his daughters, Jan Kathleen Kilroy and Lynn Christine Johnsen; his brothers-in-law, Bob Miller and Jerry Miller; and his grandson-in-law Jerry Brown.
He is survived by: his children, Lori Schroeder of Bonita Springs, Cheryl Hatcher (Rick) of Port St and Thomas Schroeder of Port Byron; his son-in-law Donald Kilroy (Amy) of Spring City, Tennessee.; his grandchildren, Jamie Brown of Marietta, Georgia, Nikole Johnsen (Rick) of Edgerton, Brandon Johnsen (Tanya) of Bradenton, Cole Johnsen (Maria) of Cordova, Ryne Schroeder of Silvis, Kevin Kilroy (Andrea) of Gilberts, Chase Schroeder of Silvis and Kelsey Lamb (Sterling) of Holmen, Wisconsin.; and his sisters-in-law, Judy Schadt of East Moline, Paula Probizanski of Sebring, Marsha Mende of Sebring and Barb Miller of Coal Valley. He is also survived by his eleven great-grandchildren.
