With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joann L. Bolk of Port Byron, Illinois, who passed away on March 1, 2026 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Joann departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Joann. Though Joann may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Emile J. DeWitte and Alice E. DeWitte (DeRuytter); and her brothers-in-law, Jerry Guinn and Michael Bush. She is survived by: her husband Ronald H. Bolk; her sisters, Dorothy Guinn of East Moline, IL and Joyce Bush of Silvis, IL; and her niece Cynthia Guinn of East Moline, IL..
