He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton Kaskadden and Mary Kaskadden (VanDerGinst); his son John Kaskadden Jr.; his grandson Sergio Wogomon; and his siblings, Patricia Hesser, Darlene Melton, Richard and Robert Kaskadden.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Wagenknecht of Port Byron; his daughters, Melissa Wagner of Bettendorf and Cristine Wagner of Davenport; and his grandchildren, Brittany Hart, John Lott, Kenzey Wogomon, Skylar Porter and Lilee Porter. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
