It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marjorie Ellen Giesler DeCap (Port Byron, Illinois), who passed away on January 8, 2026, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dorothy Carr Giesler and Frederick Giesler Sr.; her spouse Jerry Lee DeCap; her mother-in-law Dorothy DeCap; her son-in-law Brian Tegeler; her great grandchild Mya; her sister Patricia Olsen; and her brother-in-law James DeCap.

She is survived by: her children, Matthew DeCap (Michelle), Tammy Tegeler and Debra Klavon (Dale); her grandchildren, Brandon DeCap, Andrew DeCap (Randi), Daltin Klavon (Murphy), Wyatt Klavon (Brittany), Carley Klavon, Delaney Richardson (Ryon) and Dillin Tegeler (Brittney Kruser); her great grandchildren, Carson Whipple, Ciara DeCap, Guy DeCap, Eden DeCap, Braxton DeCap, Brynlee DeCap, Ava Southwell, Carson Klavon, Livi Klavon, Elliott Klavon, Parker Klavon and Adalea Richardson; her sister-in-law Joyce Hugart (Butch); her brother Frederick Giesler Jr.; and her brother-in-law John DeCap (Melanie).
